Company headquarters

The registered office of a company is one of the features that follows from the legal regulations of the Czech Republic. Such a registered office serves primarily as the contact address of the company. Clients, suppliers and other business partners of the company, including state institutions, can contact this address. For this reason, the registered office is listed as one of the information in the Czech Commercial Register. In cases where your business does not require an office, you may list the company’s registered office at your home address. However, in terms of privacy and possible inspections by state institutions, it is better to rent a registered office for the company. Parker & Hill has several headquarters to choose from in a variety of price ranges. It depends on what you expect of your headquarters. What is offshore?

Offshore is a well-known word, however, the interpretation of this word is sometimes interpreted differently, resulting in many versions that are incorrect or incomplete. In business and finance, the word offshore is derived from companies that were set up in countries with favourable tax regimes (tax havens). Today, it is associated to business – offshore business. The basis of such business is business activity outside the territory of the company’s registration. The essence of the whole is that the jurisdiction in question receives international capital in return for favourable tax treatment and legal certainty. For more detailed information on offshore business and how to set up your own offshore company, please visit Offshore companies menu.

How much does an offshore company cost?

The first thing you need to know is in which country you want to set up a company. The cost of incorporation is derived from the jurisdiction and its specifications. For any offshore company, there are two prices – first the cost of incorporation and then the cost of renewal. The incorporation price can be found in the first column of our price list, the extension price can be found in the second column. For each jurisdiction there is a link where you can find a description and characteristics – https://www.parkerhill.co.uk/pricing/

How to set up a fund?

Setting up an investment fund focused on real estate investments or real estate companies is not a straightforward process. We will give you a general description of the current legislation that underpins the process and the different stages of setting up a fund. The price for such a fund is always individual and is determined after a personal meeting where the details of the future fund are specified. Read the basic information here: https://www.parkerhill.co.uk/funds-establishment/, or contact us directly at this link

What is a trust?

A trust or trust fund is a legal institution that has been a traditional institution for many centuries. Its origins are not to be found in Anglo-Saxon law. Simply put, a trust is a form of legal relationship between its settlor and the designated trustee of the trust. The settlor of the trust sets aside and entrusts his property to the care of the appointed trustee of the trust. The trustee of the trust then disposes of the property in the same way as if he were the owner. He does so, however, for the benefit of a third party (a defendant appointed by the settlor of the trust). For more detailed information and the possibilities of setting up a trust, see the following link: https://www.parkerhill.co.uk/trust-hedge-fund/.

How to set up an anonymous bank account?

In most cases, an anonymous account can be opened with financial companies that cannot be described as a bank. However, the final product – the account – is not, at first glance, recognisable from a traditional bank account. However, even here, the account must be opened in the name of a specific person or company – so the identity of the account holder cannot be logically hidden. Due to frequent changes in the field of bank accounts, it is always necessary to be properly informed. Thus, more detailed information regarding this type of account can be obtained at a free personal meeting, including the cost of opening.

What is a spin-off/branch?

A spin-off is a component of a foreign company. The branch itself has no legal personality and only acts on behalf of its foreign entity. A branch always bears the name of the founder together with the addition “branch”. A branch plant is created and dissolved very quickly.

There is no need to deposit share capital when a spin-off company is established. Therefore, the establishment of a spin-off plant is much more efficient for a foreign entity than the establishment of a classic Czech company. More detailed information is available at this link.

What is super-legalization?

The term super-legalization means what is known as a higher verification of a document. The purpose of superlegalization is to certify the authenticity and validity of a given document in relation to a foreign country. Foreign state authorities cannot, of course, know all the official procedures and forms of foreign documents. However, if a foreign state declares such a document (e.g. a birth certificate, a report card or an extract from a criminal record) to be authentic by means of superlegalization, the foreign state will then accept the document without further examination.

In practice, the authenticity of the signatures and official stamps on such a document (which is usually translated by a court) is verified by ministries or consular authorities at various levels.

For the most part, however, the whole process of superlegalization has been replaced by the so-called apostille. This is a certification clause with which the Ministry of Justice or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamps a given document so that it is directly usable abroad, without any further requirement. This makes the whole process much faster and cheaper.

It is important to note, however, that a document bearing an apostille will only be recognised in a state that is a member of the so-called Apostille Convention (there are currently around 100 such states). The apostille is most often issued in the official language of the state which has affixed it, sometimes bilingually. If it is used in a foreign country, it must also be translated.
